Product Details
The pH electrode is a device on the pH meter that contacts the solution to be measured and is used to determine the specific ion potential value of the solution. The electrode used in the potential analysis method is called a primary battery. A primary battery is a system whose function is to convert chemical reaction energy into electrical energy. The voltage of this battery is called electromotive force. This electromotive force consists of two half cells. One of the half-cells is called a measuring electrode, its potential is related to a specific ion activity; the other half-cell is a reference half-cell, commonly referred to as a reference electrode, which is generally in communication with the measuring solution and is connected to the measuring instrument. The pH composite electrode is an electrode that combines a pH indicating electrode and a reference electrode, and can be classified into a molded case and a glass depending on the material of the outer casing. Compared with the indicator electrode, the composite electrode is convenient to use.
